EDOM (IDUMAEA). 4th century BC. Drachm (Silver, 13 mm, 4.21 g), imitating Athens. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet, degraded to nearly plain bulge. Rev. AΘ[E] Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig; all within incuse square. GTvA 34-59. HGC 10, 617. An exceptionally well preserved, beautifully toned and perfectly centered example. Good very fine.
